Callahan Air Conditioning & Heating is a full service Mechanical Contractor for both residential and commercial customers with licensing in Plumbing, Piping, Refrigeration and Electrical trades.  We have live people to answer your call and experienced staff to handle any size project turn-key. 

We offer complete services for Heating and Air Conditioning Systems including replacements of your current systems, conversions to high efficiency, new construction including design and build or system expansion in your new space.  

Our electrical department is capable of handling any job, large or small, from installing a receptacle, to addressing power quality issues and complete building wiring.

Our plumbing department handles all of our wet heating installations, piping, gas connections, full plumbing rough and finish and repairs. 

We have a full service department to cover emergencies for all departments 24 hours 7 days a week.  With more than 85 years of combined experience they will get you up and running as quickly as possible.

Joseph Kevin Callahan – President 

   Kevin has worked in the HVAC business since 1973 after graduating from the Northeast Institute for Gas and Refrigeration. In 1994 he established Callahan Air Conditioning & Heating in North Andover, serving customers in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire areas as a full service Mechanical Contractor. 
As an independent dealer, we can offer the latest technology solutions by all of the industry’s leading manufacturers. Our experienced staff will work with you to design and recommend the best system solutions to meet your needs.
   All Callahan employees are OSHA certified and receive on going training in their areas. Our mission at Callahan’s is to provide a level of service that exceeds the customer’s expectations and provide quality installations that provide energy savings and comfort.

Mitch Poirier

Commercial Project Manager - Mitch has more than 25 years of commercial and residential experience in custom design, installation, planned maintenance and service for all types of HVAC-R systems. Services include rooftop systems up to 100 tons, energy recovery systems, chillers, controls, air balancing. 
   Our commercial department is a full service, OSHA certified, Mechanical Contractor with licensing in Plumbing, Piping, Refrigeration and Electrical trades. Our customers include automobile dealerships, banking institutions, developments for residential new construction, manufacturing plants, offices, and apartment complexes.

Andrew Raimondi - 

Service Manager- We have a full Service Department covering our customers 24 hours a day and 7 days per week. With over 85 combined years of heating & cooling experience our skilled technicians have the know how to diagnose, adjust and repair your system to keep you comfortable all year long. We service all major brands of equipment and our technicians are continually trained. We have found that the best way to avoid system failures and protect and lengthen the life of your heating and cooling system is to have regular preventative maintenance. Just like you maintain your car with regular oil changes it is recommended that you maintain your comfort system with regular maintenance each time you start-up your heating or cooling system. Kevin McDonald - 

Manager Residential Sales- Our experienced staff will design and build a new Heating or Cooling System to meet your specific needs. We can install a complete system including sheet metal fabrication, piping for Freon, water and gas lines, radiant tubing, as well as any electrical connections and modifications. We have on staff a licensed electrician and licensed plumbers to provide a complete turn key installation.
