Q:
Why do Preventative Maintenance on your HVAC system?
Weather it be on a cold blustery day or a day
in the heat of summer - a system failure will ruin
your day. Planned service keeps your system in great
shape and helps prevent unwanted emergency service calls.
A properly maintained system will last longer and save you
money on your energy bills.
Do
you change the oil in your car regularly? If you
don't you will not notice immediately that the car is not
running well ,but, over time, without maintenance the
engine will eventually quit. The same is true with
your heating and cooling systems. If you do not do
regular maintenance, you may not notice right away, but it
will catch up with you in the long run.
Preventative
Maintenance should be done each time your system is
started up for the season - once per year for the heating
system and once per year for the air conditioning system.

Q.
How do I know if I have a furnace or a boiler?
The difference between a furnace and a boiler is that a furnace heats air
and blows it through heat ducts to the registers or
grilles in the home. A boiler heats water, and
the water is circulated through pipes to radiators or
baseboards.
Register
for a furnace or hot air system.
Q:
My pilot light is on , but my furnace is not operating -
what should I do?
First, check for power, check fuses and/or ON-OFF
switch. Next, check thermostat for proper setting. If none
of these approaches work call a certified service
technician.
Q:
Why is my furnace so noisy?
It could be a
worn fan belt, bad bearings or bearings in need of
lubrication.
Q:
My allergies seem to bother me a lot at home. What can I
do?
At least,
change your air filters. You might also consider having
your air ducts cleaned. Much of the dust, mites and other
debris that build up in the air ducts are circulated into
the air of your home.
Q:
What are the benefits of an air filtration system?
An Air
Filtration system removes dust, pollen, spores and smoke.
It can also reduce the cost of Furnace and Air Conditioner
maintenance.

Q.
I have a boiler what are my options for air conditioning
my home?
Three options are available:
A.
Ductless air conditioning is often referred to as a
mini split. It is a cost-effective way to control
indoor climate without adding ductwork. A wall unit is
hung .... and the condenser is installed outside the
building, ensuring quiet operation inside. A
remotely wired or hand-held controller provides flexible
operation relating to time programs, room temperatures and
more.
B. High-velocity air systems distributes air
through flexible, pre-insulated 2" tubing which
slides through wall structures and around obstructions.
All you see is a small, round, air outlet about the
diameter of a ?? Located on ceilings, walls, or floors,
the outlets can be easily painted or wallpapered.
C. Conventional duct cool air systems in
many cases can be added by dropping thru ceiling and
closets without causing major renovation problems ....
